Donors, sponsors, supporters and volunteers
From vulnerable to resilient
You as a donor, sponsor, supporter or volunteer make a difference and make a dream of a child with a disability come true. With your support, Smiling Kids Bali is able to guide a disadvantaged child to a promising, self-reliant individual.
It feels good to help!
It's easy to make a difference in the lives of these children.
Make their dreams come true. They work hard for it.
There are many ways to contribute. Of course, you can do this financially by making a one-off or periodic fixed contribution or by becoming a Club100 member. But you can also make rehabilitation materials or equipment available. Organizing sponsorship activities yourself is also an option. We are happy to support this with, for example, a presentation about the children's rehabilitation center. But also think of internship and volunteer projects such as with a medical background, automation or organizational science. You are cordially invited to make a difference in whatever way and make dreams come true!
One-time or recurring contribution
It feels good to help!
A contribution is easy and quick to make, no matter how big or small. With a contribution of €25,- you are already a friend (teman) of the children's rehabilitation centre.
Our foundation is registered with the tax authorities as a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI). As a result, you as a donor enjoy tax benefits. If you commit to this for a period of 5 years in a donation agreement prepared by us, you will have a maximum (100%) tax benefit.
A Win-Win contribution

Become a Club100 member
It feels good to help!
With 210 Club100 members (since October 2024), this group forms an important and solid financial foundation. The 100 stands for the annual contribution of € 100,-
Participation is possible personally but also as a family, group of friends, organization or company. A bamboo nameplate will be made from the registration and will hopefully hang for many years at the children's rehabilitation center in the north of Bali.
Participation in accordance with the ANBI rules
provides maximum tax benefit.

Internship and volunteer projects
It feels good to help!
For many years we have been receiving interns and volunteers. We work together with various colleges, universities and child rehabilitation centres in the Netherlands and abroad. In addition to the preference for child physiotherapy, we are also interested in many other disciplines within healthcare. But also in the field of automation, organisational science, management, catering, manual labour we have internship and experience places to fill. Register via the contact form if you are interested or have questions.

Karma
In Bali, Hinduism is the most important religion with 93 percent. Worship of the
Ancestors and belief in karma are primary here.
In Hinduism, it is believed that having a child with a mental and/or physical disability is a punishment for the current generation. It means that the ancestors have done something bad. It is important for the parents to accept these children. They then offer their apology, as it were, for the bad things that their ancestors have done. This forgives the bad karma of the ancestors.
Shame, neglect and the extra worries.
Unfortunately, this does not mean that all disabled children are accepted and cared for in Bali. Out of shame, many children are rejected and left to their fate and/or live in isolation. Away from tourism, hidden between the rice fields or the higher areas and the densely forested forest. But also in the narrow back streets of the small (mountain) villages and residential communities (Kampung). Here you will find a different Bali with poverty and neglected children with a disability.
Guide a tiny step forward and help!
Thanks to the support of our donors and supporters, we can continue our work.
We warmly welcome your support so that we can offer our children loving care, education and work experience. Only in this way can we offer them the perspective of a more independent existence.
Every donation is welcome. Many thanks from the team of Smiling Kids Bali.
